Lead by Example

Paulo Coelho said, “The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.”  Paul Coelho is a Brazilian writer and also was in many other jobs involving literature. When he was younger he was very rebellious and wrote many songs going against the government.(Biography.com) I think Coelho realized after this that there needs to be action not just words. His quote is very true and a good thing to think about going through life. It is really interesting that he said this because he is a writer which all they do is share their opinion. The quote is kind of self-explanatory in your life you are going to have an opinion on a subject but you probably are going to act completely different.  In life your actions speak louder than words of your opinion. If you even want to try to change people you need to give an example not just words. In my life people also respond better to your actions then to you preaching at them. My parents taught me mostly by example for instance table manners I mostly learned from watching my parents. From my life even when knowing this people still will try to change by opinion because it is easier to do. For example I like to wear my hat indoors sometimes and because of this some people feel the need to share their opinion why I should remove my hat. People will normally not put forth the effort to change others by changing themselves and it really stinks that that is the world we live in today.
